ISO/ TS 16949

 

The standard ISO/TS16949 is a harmonized, unified standard for the automotive industry. This standard is accepted by all car manufacturers.

 

It is based on the general standard for Quality Management Systems ISO 9001. ISO/TS16949 adds to it the branch-specific additional requirements.

Leather Working Group Environmental Audit

 

This certificate is a confirmation of the passing of an extensive environmental audit of BLC (British Leather Technology Center).

 

This audit is focusing mainly on the chemical and environmental impacts in the production processes of leather. They are measured, evaluated and verified. The impact of these processes on employees is also considered.
GOLD is the highest status achievable and Heller-Leder has received this rating as the first tannery in Europe.
This certification makes a worldwide comparison possible.

The Blue-Angel

 

The Blue-Angel is since 1978 a mark of quality for products and services that are particularly environmentally friendly.

 

Heller-Leder has defined together with the Federal Environment Agency the criteria for the evaluation of the product “furniture leather” and consequently received as a first company worldwide the Blue-Angel eco-label.
